This is the route from JR “Saga Arashiyama station ” to “Kyoetsu Kimono Rental Arashiyama Shop”. It takes around 7 mins.
Exit the ticket gate and continue left
Walk towards the “South exit”
Exit the south exit and climb down the stairs
After climbing down the stairs, continue on left. (The Toroco Saga station is on the right side)
Continue on straight
Keep going straight
After walking for around 2mins from the station, you will see the Kyoto Bank on the left hand side. Turn right on the corner. Continue straight

Walk pass “Nakamuraya head store”
Walk under the overhead structure
As you walk for around 80m from the overhead structure, there will be a red sign showing “Saga drugstore” on the right hand side.
Turn right at the corner infront of the sigh. (It is one store infront of the “kanzashi store”)
As you continue on, you will be near the photo shown. Turn the corner and walk throught the path between the house and parking lot
As you walk for around 50m, you will see the “Kyoetsu Kimono Rental Arashiyama Shop” (The Randen rail crossing is at the end).

You will see the Togetsukyo bridge. Cross the Togetsugyo bridge
After crossing the bridge, walk straight pass the crossing.
Continue on the road
Continue straight and walk pass the “Miffy Sakura Kitchen Arashiyama store”
Continue straight for around 2 mins, and you will see the Randen “Arashiyama station” on the right hand side.
Walk pass Randen “Arashiyama station. There are no ticket gates at this station so you can walk through it without a ticket.
Turn left right in front of the station home.
Walk pass Seven bank ATM and Yamato Transportation and walk towards the North Exit.
Go outside and walk through Kimono Forest
